1. What we collect

When you use QuotePilot, we collect:

• Account information: your name, email, company name, and phone number
• Job site photos and voice recordings you upload to generate quotes
• Client information you enter: names, addresses, and email addresses
• Payment information, processed and stored by Stripe (we never see or store your card number)
• When a client accepts a quote: their typed name, IP address, browser user-agent, and timestamp, as a record of that acceptance
• Basic usage data (which pages you visit, how many quotes you generate)

2. How we use it

• To generate AI-drafted quotes from your photos and voice/text descriptions
• To send quote links to your clients on your behalf
• To process payments for paid plans
• To enforce plan usage limits
• To improve the product and fix bugs

3. Who we share it with

We share data only with the services required to run QuotePilot:

• Google (Gemini API) — receives your uploaded photos and voice/text descriptions to generate quote drafts
• Supabase — hosts our database and file storage
• Stripe — processes subscription payments
• Resend — sends quote emails to your clients on your behalf

We do not sell your data or your clients' data to anyone, ever.

4. Job photos

Photos you upload are stored to generate and display your quotes, and are sent to Google's Gemini API for analysis. If you delete a quote, we remove the database record, but you should verify with us directly if you need photos permanently purged from storage as well.

5. Your clients' data

If you're a contractor using QuotePilot, you are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect and share your clients' names, addresses, and emails with us. When a client accepts a quote, we record their typed name, IP address, and browser information as evidence of that acceptance.

6. Data retention

We retain your account data and quotes for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual quotes at any time. To delete your entire account and associated data, contact us at the email below.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to object to certain processing. Contact us to make a request.

8. Security

We use industry-standard practices to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), row-level database access controls, and secret management for API keys. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll update the date at the top when we do.
