Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By creating an account or using QuotePilot, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

2. What QuotePilot is

QuotePilot helps contractors turn job-site photos and voice/text descriptions into draft proposals using AI, and share those proposals with clients for review and acceptance.

3. AI-generated content is a draft, not a guarantee

Labor hours, material quantities, prices, and timelines suggested by QuotePilot are AI-generated estimates. They may be inaccurate, outdated, or wrong. You are solely responsible for reviewing, correcting, and verifying every quote before sending it to a client. QuotePilot is not responsible for losses resulting from inaccurate AI-generated estimates that you did not verify.

4. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when signing up.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use QuotePilot for anything illegal or fraudulent
• Send quotes containing false, deceptive, or misleading information to clients
• Attempt to abuse, overload, or circumvent usage limits or security controls
• Upload content you don't have the right to upload (e.g., photos you don't own or have permission to use)

6. Plans and billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis through Stripe. You can cancel at any time; your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period. We don't offer refunds for partial billing periods except where required by law.

7. Client acceptance

When a client "accepts" a quote through QuotePilot, we record their typed name, IP address, and timestamp as evidence of that acceptance. QuotePilot does not verify the identity of the person accepting a quote, and does not guarantee this constitutes a legally binding contract in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for determining whether this meets your legal needs, and for using a separate signed contract if required.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

QuotePilot is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be accurate.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, QuotePilot is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including losses from inaccurate quotes, missed jobs, or client disputes.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of QuotePilot after changes means you accept the updated terms.
